Hi, my name is Marc Winchell. Pictured above is me with my beautiful wife Kenzie and our amazing little daughter Emmy. I was born and raised in San Diego, California in the small town of Ramona. I am the second youngest of nine kids (five boy and four girls). If you come from a large family, you’ll know what I mean when I say there is never a dull moment.
My parents raised us as faithful Christians and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Though not all of my siblings are active in this faith today, we were lucky to be raised by good parents who taught us to be good. I graduated from High School in 2003 and a year later went on to serve a volunteer mission for my church in New York for two years. It was a great experience.
In 2008 I moved to Hawaii where I attended BYU-Hawaii Corporate Finance and Accounting undergraduate program. I graduated in 2011 with a B.S in Corporate Finance and Minor in Accounting. After a summer of traveling I came back to Hawaii and met Kenzie within a few days. We were married in 2013. After my wife graduated from University of Hawaii with her Masters in Speech Pathology, we moved to San Diego to pursue new opportunities.
Our daughter Emmy Rae was born in March of 2018. Besides marrying Kenzie, our little Emmy is the best decision I have ever made. Most recently we lived in Oceanside, California and really were excited to begin setting roots there. When I became sick in May 2019 we did all we could to hang onto what we had. But in February 2020 we decided to make a change and move to Redlands, California for an opportunity for Kenz.
